hamilton hamilton where did you go
i wanted you but i’m all alone
i’m dreaming dreaming dreaming
hamilton hamilton where did you go
i thought you were there but i’m all alone
i’m dreaming dreaming dreaming
so i met this guy
apparently he’s my neighbour
his name is hamilton he’s really tall and has brown eyes
he asked me if i wanted to go to the park
i looked at my watch it was 8pm
i said okay why not
so we go to the park and i’m like do you wanna dance?
he said sure
so we’re dancing and then a girl was jogging by
and asked if she could join us
and we said definitely
and then a ten year old kid came by and started dancing too
and then soon enough there was a crowd of people
and we were all dancing
and the sprinklers turned on
i thought to myself is this a dream
and it was i was sleeping
and then i woke up
and i was like fuck
hamilton hamilton where did you go
i wanted you but i’m all alone
i’m dreaming dreaming dreaming
hamilton hamilton where did you go
i thought you were there but i’m all alone
i’m dreaming dreaming dreaming
so i heard a knock at my door
and i got out of bed to see who it was
it was my neighbour
he was standing there with a cigarette and a map of the world
and he asked me
where do you wanna go
i said switzerland
he said should we take my blimp?
i told him yeah
and then i was falling
and i thought to myself is this a dream again
and it was
i was still sleeping
i guess the most interesting things happen when i’m dreaming
hamilton hamilton where did you go
i wanted you but i’m all alone
i’m dreaming dreaming dreaming

It's been like several re-listens and binges of this album since 2020 that I can still come back to and proudly say that this was an album I will personally call one of my favorites of all time.
Wonderfully crafted & ambitious dream pop wearing its 60s influence on its sleeve with sheer delight, Wake UP! has been an album that I have no shame in saying it saved my life. No other album I can say I love can say that did it for me, capturing both the anxieties and joys of life, in spite of it. christiancruz8184
Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley
A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
Off-kilter Portland indie rockers make an unexpected return with a tight three-track EP, their first new release in 12 years. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2024
Noise pop at its finest from this rambunctious Melbourne group that thrives on louder-than-loud guitars and belted-out vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 4, 2024
Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.
